Any Team Green Moms have outfits for their LO? I plan on bringing two to the hospital (one boy and one girl) but haven't gotten out to purchase any yet. Am I way behind in the game? I have a scheduled c-section March 9th and am beginning to panic over how little I have it together - No hospital bag packed yet or anything! Just curious how everyone is making out?

Re: Bring Home Outfits for Team Green
I definitely don't have a bag packed yet but I'm only bringing one outfit. It's a red and brown sock monkey romper so it'll work for either sex.

We are due March 13th and are behind too! The nursery isn't even remotely put together, baby laundry not washed, bags aren't packed. We'll get to it! No need to panic.
I was going to do 2 outfits also, but this weekend I was sucked into The Gap Outlet and found this adorable neutral sleeper outfit with jungle animals. I loved it and figured that would be easiest. I worry with a boy outfit and a girl outfit, can you put one on the baby that isn't washed? But if you wash them, then you can't return them. I probably think to hard about it! So far I have bought everything in 0-3 months, no newborn things. I'm not anticipating a baby under 8lbs...I was a big baby, my husband was a big baby, and this baby is consistently measuring big. So if the 0-3 months are big, they won't be for long.

My great-grandmother alwas=ys said that babies are suppossed to come home in white. She gave me a gorgeous white gown for DD. Unfortunately we didn't get to use it because DD was a preemie. We won't be using it this time around either, because I don't think I can convince my husband to put our son in a dress. LOL
So anyway, my suggestion is to buy a white outfit.
