Hi mamas, I haven't been on this board for a while. Anyway, I now have an 11 day old who HATES diaper changes, and the only thing I can think of is that the wipe is too cold. Wouldn't be a huge deal but he screams so loud in the night that we are afraid he'll wake up DS #1 and then we'll have two kids to put back to bed.
Fun!
We use cloth wipes and honey chunks wipe solution, so I am wondering if there is a wipes warmer out there that is particularly cloth-wipe friendly. TIA!
Re: pls recommend your wipes warmer
Thanks! We are looking into this. Do you use the wipes that come with it or your own? I think I'd prefer to use our own flannel wipes.
During the day we use the HC sensitive skin solution, but at night we do use straight tap water because it's warmer. We've have been trucking to the bathroom and just waiting for the water to get warm but it takes a long time for ours to heat up since it's winter, and even then he still fusses because it doesn't stay warm by the time we get back to him and wipe him. So on to plan B...
I do use the wipes that came with it but they aren't that great. And it only comes with 4. We use an assortment, but I like washcloths the best. I would say use whatever you like!
Ditto. We used some of their brand wipes and some organic ones from cottonbabies. I just soak them with water, squeeze them and put them in there. We haven't had in issue and have had it over a year.
