Book recc : Expecting Adam

It was sooooo good.

It is written by a woman who has a (now 20ish year old) son with DS.  It is mostly set during her pg, but also she talks about her little boy once he is born.  

It is scary to me, how much different SN stuff was in the late 80's.  It was really eye-opening to me how lucky I have it.  She found out the baby had DS with amnio at 20ish weeks.

    I am so thankful that I live in this time and this country knowing that our daughter has DS. It is very eye opening to read about kids born with Down syndrome even half a generation ago or now in another country!
