Baby's first blowout!

Well, poor baby girl had not pooped since Monday. I read that this was pretty common for bf babies, and to expect a blowout. We she has been so fussy and gassy for about the last 24 hours. Today, we pyut her in her swing, and I had heard a couple of loud noises, but thought is was just the swing. Well after she woke up from a pretty good nap about an hour and a half later, DH picked her up and OMG, IT WAS EVERYWHERE! Through her onsie, and sleeper, AND the swing fabric, and get this, there was actually a small puddle on the plastic seat of the swing! Ewwww! Poor baby! She got a nice warm bath out of the deal, and hopefully will be in a much better mood now! We are just so thankful she finally went, and I feel terrible that she sat/slept in it for so long! We just hoping this doesn't become a new Sunday tradition!

    Yeah, baby poop can be crazy!  Glad she was able to get it out of her system. :)

    LOL it's amazing how much a little baby can poop!  DD did this right after DH had changed a poopy diaper and I was in shock that she still had that much poop in her.  It was all over her tummy, back and feet.  How do you poop on your stomach? I didn't even know that was possible!!! :)
