XP:From 3T-Insight please-no embryos to transfer

RN called this morning (day 3) to let us know all 3 of our embies arrested overnight.

I'm wondering if there are any IVFers who experienced embryo arrest between day 2 and day 3.  If so, any words of wisdom as to what this means?   From what I read thus far, it is likely an egg issue at this stage of the game.  I get that to start with only 3 reduced our chances to begin with, but in my eyes, 100% is 100%, whether the number was 15, 10 or 3.  That is what scares me.

Also any success stories after a similar situation?

Any insight would be appreciated.  Thanks!

    I'm really sorry to hear that.  Your siggy doesn't suggest that you have DOR, but 6 is a pretty low number of eggs to retrieve if you don't have it.  Do you know your AFC and AMH numbers?

    Did you do a long lupron protocol or a micro-flare lupron protocol?  It's possible the lupron over-suppressed your ovaries and you might have better luck with an antagonist protocol in getting more eggs. 

    You might also want to think about genetic testing with the embryos next time to figure out if there is some genetic issue in play. 

    I hope your RE is able to give you some answers about what went wrong with this cycle.  You might also want to think about getting a second opinion from another clinic before proceeding with another IVF, just for some peace of mind that you might get a better result next time.
