Test drove the Graco Ready2Grow

We will not be buying it...I wanted to love it and the concept it perfect but the stroller fails. =(

It will not fit the Chicco car seat. That was deal breaker #1. It wont even just sit in the front seat.

The front seat is horrible. Not padded really well for comfort and way too small. R's head was totally above the back of the seat, so there was no way he could lay back and snooze if we were on a long outing. The seat portion if very shallow and his knees were way bent when his feet rested on the foot thing. 

The rear jump seat is great, and would have been perfect for baby or the bench would have been fine for R, but all together there were too many cons.

I really wish I could just design my own stroller!

    oh darn!  That stinks that you didn't like it.  Liam WILL NOT nap in a stroller any more, so i wasn't worried about that.  Hopefully you find something that will work for you soon.

    Oh we have the city mini double and like it, he fits fine as it has a high back. I just thought this one would have been even better.

    I was looking at it too, but only because I really want something for the infant carrier to snap into, and for A to be able to sit/stand for short trips.

    I don't want to spend $90 on the car seat adapter for the BJCM but I also don't want to pull J out of the car seat in the winter to put her laying flat in it either. Decisions!

    Its too bad yhat you didn't like it.. I thought it looked neat.. really think you'll be perfectly happy with your citi mini.. we will be done with our carseat adaptorby the time your new one comes so you are welcome to borrow it. I am a stroller addict like you and I honestly have no desire for another double besides the city mini.

    Oh good!  at least you have one!  We didn't, and I got the sit and stand before A was born, but never opened in case I changed my mind, which I did.  haha!
