Bipolar ?

My dh is severly manic bipolar and so was his mother. We have always known it would be a chance one of our sons was bipolar as well. Well lately I am seeing some signs in my middle child. But being that we just welcomed a new baby to the family 9 months ago I am not really sure if he is just showing signs of adjusting to the baby (and a move) or showing signs of being bipolar. He was his 6 year well child check up in a few weeks but wabted to get some outside input. Could he be showing signd? What signs should I look for?

    The signs he is showing are sudden mood changes, very short attn span, changes in appitite, he will also be six in a few weeks and is not writing or reading. He tries but still writes his name like a 4yo would. I never thought of autisum or aspergers though, he is extremly social and vocal. I will have to check out that website though. Thank you.
