TMI ?

Anyone have swollen lady bits post c-s?  I don't remember this issue with the first one, but I am 2 weeks 3 days postpartum, and my vag is still swollen.  I can feel a lump in the middle that hurts when I wash with soap (burns).  There are no issues with urination, just the irritation of the soap (which is better when I use baby soap, so more gentle I guess?)  I will bring it up at my next appt, but I wondered if perhaps I should call sooner?  Any experience?  I know my Dr. has likely seen worse, but I am so embarrassed by this.  Thanks for any help, ladies!

    Hmmm...the only thing that I can think of is an irritation from the cath but then that would be more around where you pee.

    I would call so they could rule out uterine prolapse (not to freak you out!). hth

    Yep, that's where it is.  I'm thinking cath irritation, but I'm afraid there may be infection.  I'm going to call tomorrow because now it just hurts all the time.  Could be some sort of UTI, but it doesn't hurt to pee, just wipe.  Thanks so much for your help, ladies!  It just seems so unfair to have pain south of the border after a c-section!

    I had a little irritation from the cath but it was gone by the time I was discharges (2 days after c/s). I'd call just to be safe.

    Yes, I think there is likely some sort of infection.  I'm calling tomorrow.  I'm completely miserable now.  Ugh!  I was feeling so good about my recovery until this.  So discouraging.
