I had mine on Friday and they're suspecting it to be positive because of little boy's size (he's already over 3lb and his belly is measuring two weeks ahead). Just wondering how long I have before I get the news...
My 3 hour test must be different than most of you because they just pricked my finger every hour. At the end of three i knew i passed. I didn't have to wait like most of you. Do you think one way is more accurate than the other??

I didn't go for the 3 hour one (yet) - if I do, I'll be SO happy if it's just a finger prick with immediate results, though!
My office only calls if you fail. My results were posted to my online patient account 4 days after I took the test and at my appoint 3 weeks later they confirmed I passed. The MW reviews the results before they're posted online, so I assume I would have heard after 2 or 3 days if that were the case.
I called and asked for my result the same afternoon I took it. The lab told me it would only take an hour to process the samples and then they would send results to the doctor. They probably would've called me the next day, but I just called to find out because I was going crazy wondering.

I think that's unusual as getting blood drawn is much more accurate than the finger prick. I did my finger pricks at the same time as the lab took my blood and their numbers were definitely lower.
They usually can process the results quite quickly either way.
mmc @ 14 weeks - November 2009. Missed every day.

mine was the same way. I only had to stay for 2 of the 3 hours because she said I passed the first 3 finger pricks. They told me that day for the 1 he and the 3 hr.

For both the 1 hr and 3 hr test, it takes my office about 2 days to get the results. We have an in house lab, but they send these tests down to a different lab.
