New to west suburb area - need OB recommendation

I am in Wheaton. My current OB is a world-class jerk. I need a new doctor ASAP. Do you have recommendations?

I am considered high-risk due to a uterine defect. I am currently experiencing a incarcerated uterus and am in pain. I'd like a doctor that is very experienced. My last OB before we moved had worked for 45 years. I loved that!

  • I live in Naperville and went through Dupage medical group.  I switched between the rolling ridge and the spalding (edward hospital) locations.  Dr. Martin delivered my son and I highly recommend him, also heard great things about Dr. Weeks.  I am not sure if they deal directly with the condition you have, but it's a start.  Good luck!

I loved this entire group.  (Though I never saw Dr. Bressler, I think she was only delivering out of Edwards at the time).  Dr. Cannon was my favorite.  They were in the DuPage Medical Group's Wheaton offices.  I don't know if they handle high-risk patients though, you will have to ask.

I'll second Dr. Martin - he's super! I'm also partial to Dr. Kagan (who delivered my son) and Dr. Frangella. I didn't really love Dr. Weeks, he just seemed hurried to me, but it could have just been that day.

  • I am going through the Edwards group - they have Naperville, Plainfield & Bolingbrook offices. Been going there for about 15 years now (for GYN) now for our first baby (I am 21 weeks) all the docs and nurses are great!!! They also have a great high risk proram (I will be 35 when I deliver) so I had a couple high risk visits. Love them.......
