I felt them around 18 weeks but they weren't confirmed until my a/s...during that, she elbowed me and I felt it as it happened and I recognized the feeling...otherwise I would still be wondering myself...
I just started to feel her this week. Im 20 weeks. I'm not super thin either but she is stuck on my right side due to a very large fibriod and a bicorniate uterus. That may play a factor in why I'm feeling her.
I felt flutters really early with this one but discernable kicks only started a few weeks ago and those were the low, pelvic/bladder kicks. I'm just starting to feel kicks on the sides and see movement outside but only because I can feel her kick inside and I'm watching for it.
I felt our little girl for the first time the day I turned 17 weeks. I'm average weight and this is my first baby, so I was surprised I felt it so early. You should feel something soon, and when you do, you'll know. It's an amazing feeling!
I started feeling mine when I turned 17 weeks. It started off as a tapping feeling that I was question at first but became a regular feeling. Now at 20 weeks, she feels like a massive gas bubble is trying to build up around my belt line. I'd say that my starting built was a little bigger than average.
Just over 19 weeks was my first solid kick. I have about one a day now but they are still sporadic. Yesterday I was a complete emotional wreck over some unfortunate news from our anatomy scan. She was in a kicking fit! Either trying to get my attention and remind me that she's still there and OK, or to stop crying because my constant abdominal contractions are bugging her.
I didn't start feeling definite kicks until just a couple days ago, but I had been feeling what I'm pretty sure was movement for about a week and a half.
I felt my first kick around 18 weeks. At first I wasn't positive that it was the baby I was feeling, but the further along I got the more it became obvious. Now I feel her all the time!
at 17 weeks... I was up way later than usual and literally laying in bed staring at the celing. It felt more like a roll to me, and then I didn't feel anything for days.
Now I feel flutters and tiny jabs, but only if I am sitting or laying down and not preoccupied with other things.
I never felt flutters at all, just major kicks, which started at about 19 weeks. I would go a few days without feeling LO but now I do every day, and they can be felt from the outside and I can see them.
I felt some flutters around 17 weeks but couldn't be sure that it was the baby. At 17w5d I could feel the little guy roll around in there. I knew for sure it was the baby. After that I was feeling little flutters here and there but still couldn't be positive that it was always the baby. At my 20 week appointment, my doctor asked if I was starting to feel some movement. I told her I was, but only a handful of times that I could be sure were the baby. She said it was totally normal and that within a few weeks they would get stronger and I should have more certainty. Now I'm feeling some pokes and jabs here and there that I know are definitely him, but I still get flutters and just general movement. Yesterday I hardly felt the baby at all. This morning I had a very obvious kick. They are definitely getting stronger!
Thanks everyone! I think I'm starting to feel her shift, no kicks, just general movement. Apparently I have an anterior placenta which explains why I can't feel anything in the front!

I'm in the same boat, and am also wondering if it's because of my weight.
