How "gentle" is your u/s tech?

The last two u/s we've had have been with the same tech and I feel like she is so rough! If baby's not right where she wants him to be she'll take the wand and push it in and out of my belly (usually off to the side, not right on top of baby) to try and jiggle him into position. I can only assume this is normal (?) but it looks like the poor kid is getting smooshed on screen! DH even said when we left "I hope she didn't damage our child!" (While we realize this is most definitely not the case it is still weird to watch our u/s video back and see this happen so often!)

So how gentle (or not) is your u/s tech?

It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!
Beta #1 (9dp5dt) = 206, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) = 438
1st u/s @ 6w5d = 11/11/11 = ONE little bean! HB 120bpm!

    ugh, mine was horrible too!!  at my a/s last week, baby was upside down, and she was going crazy pushing trying to get baby to move, i was squeezing DH's hand so hard LOL  and i felt bad, she's jabbing the wand right over baby's head, i was like ummm hello, leave my baby alone LOL

    i'm hoping i have a different tech on tuesday when i go for another try!!

    Mine was very good. I think she is extra nice to me because she knows my history and she went through multiple IVF cycles to get her twin girls. Also my belly is really bruised up from the Lovenox shots and it's pretty visable.

    After the tech was done one of the MFM Drs came and looked, and was having a hard time seeing the bottom of the baby's tailbone so he warned me that he was going to push a little hard and also said, tells if it's too much for you.

    So mine have been super nice. Sorry you've gotten a rough one!

    3/06 - m/c 1st baby at 6 weeks 
    5/06 -2nd baby had no heartbeat at 14 wks.
    D&E - Bled out. Blood transfusions. Week in ICU - Cheated Death!

    I've had some good ones and some really bad ones. The bad ones who couldn't get a measurement of my cervix pushing down so hard I swear I'd bruise and then trying to move my son out of the way by jiggling the crap out of the wand on my belly...

    I've had really good ones and really bad ones. The doctor who did my NT scan did it transvaginally using a dinosaur ultrasound machine and he was very rough - that really hurt!
    IUIs #1-3 (1x unmedicated, 2x Clomid) = 2 BFNs, 1 m/c at 7w3d
    IUIs #4-6 (injects) = 3 BFNs
    IVF #1 = BFN
    FET #1 = BFN
    FET #2 = BFN
    IVF #2 = BFP, b/g twins lost at 20w due to partial abruption/PPROM
    IVF #3 = c/p 5w2d
    Long-shot Clomid/Prednisone cycle before next IVF = BFP, our beautiful, healthy girl born 6/26/13!

    TTC again March 2014
    FET #3 - May/June 2014     -     all embryos arrested before xfer - back to the drawing board...

    I have had some US were my belly was killing me after from all the rough pushing.
