Urgh... Might be miscarrying.

I had a little bit of spotting Wednesday night, so I called my clinic yesterday and they scheduled me for an appointment this afternoon. Had very light sporadic spotting all day yesterday, and this morning it was gone. It came back right before my appointment and has been heavier since the appointment (had a pelvic exam and a trans vag ultrasound), and I've had some cramping. Here's the thing though: the bleeding's heavy enough to show up on a pad, but nowhere near that pad-an-hour mark that seems to be the standard for serious concern. So who knows? It's weird. If I had to guess, I'd guess I'm losing this one. I had blood drawn today and will go back for another draw on Monday, so we'll see where the hcg levels are. DH is working long hours this weekend and I have nobody to help with the kids at all, so I hope if it is a miscarriage there 's at least minimal pain and drama. My last one was extraordinarily painful, and I don't want to do that by myself with two little boys! Anyway, I'll post again Monday when I know more.

Oh honey, I hope that's not the case. FWIW, I don't know how far your were before, but I was further along when I miscarried last week and physically, it wasn't that bad. It was lots of bleeding but the cramping was minimal. Of course, I didn't have two children to take care of.

lots of sticky baby dust to you. FWIW I had a lot of spotting in my first trimester, like you could see it on a pad but it never rose to a pad an hour, I didn't have a miscarriage. Our loss was a stillbirth and unrelated to the first trimester bleeding.
