I'm here! I was due Jan 25th. Had an NST and pelvic exam at the hospital this morning. Baby's doing well and I'm only a fingertip dialated. Induction scheduled for Tuesday.

I am going in tomorrow to try a little Cervadil overnight since I am only dilated to a 1. I refuse to to do pitocin though and my midwife knows that. So if Cervadil doesn't put me into labor then I will be headed home Monday morning...I would rather wait until she is ready than be induced. I am uncomfortable, but not THAT miserable. I was much more uncomfortable with my son and I am just thankful that my midwife is working with me. My son was 14 days late so I am kind of used to this in a way...

This almost exactly me except I was a little more than 1cm dilated and they stripped my membranes yesterday. Going a little crazy here...

I went in for my 41 week appt on Tuesday (also due the 25th), and she stripped my membranes. Did nothing except make me lose my mucus plus. I'm scheduled for induction on Monday night, but I'm actually considering pushing it back and seeing if they'll strip my membranes again to see if since I'm a little further along it'll put me into labor. On Tuesday I was a little over a cm dilated, but when she was stripping my membranes she stretched me to 2 cm.

Still here, too. We go in tomorrow night for induction. As much as I was glad to push our induction back from this past Tuesday to tomorrow night in the hopes he'd come on his own, it looks like it didn't matter afterall. I'm still not having any contractions or labor signs, which is a bit discouraging. At least my sister is back in the country as of today so I guess I'm OK he waited so she would be in the know when he finally does arrive. Good luck to you all!!

Good luck with your induction! I was scheduled for induction at 41 weeks 1 day. I woke up on Tuesday (induction day) to go to the hospital for induction and as soon as I stood up my water broke. They started pitocin still when I got to the hospital and I had my baby that night.
Was due on 1/28. For the last 3 weeks, I've been saying this kid is coming, this kid is coming. I feel like I'm crying wolf. Though today, I did have a spurt of energy and a teeny bit of brownish mucosy discharge. Not sure if the discharge was from my "very thorough exam," as the midwife called it or just what is left of my mucus plug.
Good luck ladies. I hope you all have your babies soon! I was recently induced and had to do pitocin- it all went great. I know the risk of still birth goes up at 42 weeks so I encourage you all to give it a try if needed! I was against it too,but it really wasn't so bad! Gl
Re: Overdue check in!
Nope! I'm still here! Do you have an induction set up? I really don't wanna reach that point
