You guys... some comic relief for your Friday night. I was browsing through Kara's Party Ideas to get ideas for our big guy's 4th birthday party. And came across this party. The theme is adorable (hot air balloons) and I love the bright colors.
Scroll about 25% down to the family picture of the husband, wife, and 2 kids.

Seriously... if I asked my husband to wear that, he'd laugh at me and walk away. I am sorry to laugh at this lovely family but holy crap. There is no f*ing way my husband would wear a coordinating tie (that matches the scarf on my dress and our kids outfits), white button down shirt, and denim shorts to a party! LMAO. I can't even type that without laughing.
Sorry...
Re: omg... ridiculous party picture (link in post)
LMAO! That is awesome. I will admit that my husband actually had some when we first met. Let's just say he doesn't have them anymore! They were more for around the house/working in the yard but still. Gross. He is more of a cargo shorts kind of guy.
Wow. I agree with Scattered he does look uncomfortable.
DH will not wear denim shorts and I okay with that. I showed him the picture and he laughed at the guy and said it was ridiculous.
My lame browser won't let me give you (well really your husband) the thumbs up but picture it in your mind.
I'm thinking that if they wear matching outfits to a kids' birthday party, that maybe they're also a jorts family? I dunno. The whole thing boggles my mind.
LMAO!! Fabulous scenario!
MH would laugh in my face if I asked him to wear that...seriously.
Uuhhhh....am I the only one who thinks this is cute? I don't think he's wearing Jorts, they just look like blue linen shorts to me. I have a feeling they are from the South where this kind of behavior is perfectly acceptable if not expected!
Dude, if that is EXPECTED, I would rather be a different species. I mean, if it is your thing, whatever, go for it. But if that is what people are supposed to do, I have never been so bummed to be a person from the south.
