Updates for me: I'm still on strict bed rest and incredibly uncomfortable. But I saw the MFM today - boys look great! Clayton (A) is 5 lbs and Jackson (B) is 6 lbs! I can't believe I have about 11 lbs of baby in my belly! But that does explain all of my pain/discomfort. I see the OB and have another NST on Wednesday.

My favorite warm drink is coffee, but I'm avoiding caffeine (decaf doesn't really appeal to me) and have replaced that with apple cider. I mostly drink water though! During this pregnancy, I have been warm for the first time in my life. I wish it would last. I don't want to go back to being cold all the time again!

We found out last week that we are definitely having two boys! We're very happy and excited. Next week begins my weekly PTL prevention visits with the MFM's nurse. I'm not sure exactly what the visits will entail at this point but I'm excited to find out.

My favorite warm beverage is hot chocolate. I live in Texas and so far it's been a warm winter so hot drinks haven't been too appealing. Give me a nice big glass of water instead! I'm definitely running warmer than usual too.

I see my MFM tomorrow and plan to ask a few questions that I asked the OB and didn't like the answer to I am starting to get tired and uncomfortable at work but figure it's par for the course.

QOTW: Typically tea but it just makes me feel yucky now. I have been a fan of iced coffee and cold water lately even though I am always cold.

I have an OB appt on Fri and a MFM appt a week from today, where they will hopefully tell me the sexes of the babies!

QOTW: I'm gonna go ahead and be the lush of the group....my fave warm drink is a hot toddy. Hot tea, brandy, and honey. Nothing warms you up better on a cold night! Clearly I am skipping hot toddy season this year, and drinking lots of cold water instead!

I am not a fan of warm drinks these days. Probably because I'm roasting all the time!

I love hot chocolate and thanks to our christmas present (a keurig) I can enjoy a cup whenever I'd like. Although for Iowa it has been a VERY warm winter, I think it hit 50 today! Crazy! So I have been cold usually but depends on situation if I am super hot or cold.

2 weeks ago the babies were measuring about 2lbs each, I have u/s wed to see how they are doing now. My doc says I am a model pt and doing better than all of his di/di pregnant ladies, so I guess that is good. Although I'm starting to feel like a pile of poop, and I'm no longer working. Dental hygiene is hard with a giant belly! I was huffing and puffing for air while hunched over my patients!

I used to drink tons of coffee but now that I can't have caffeine all I really enjoy drinking is cold water. Nothing else sounds good to me anymore.

My 16 week appt is next week. I'm ready for my appts to be closer together --- the 4 week wait is tough!! I did break down and buy a doppler, so that has been providing a reassurance my paranoid brain needs.

Coffee was my go to warm beverage, but now I just have an occasional hot chocolate.

No big updates here. Just trying to wrap my head around the number of weeks left. Only 13 at the most!

Also, I was successful today on my goal of following my Dr's.orders of only working 40 hours a week. I left promptly at 4:30 today

I live and die for coffee. I drink it all summer - heat or no heat. My favorite is Dunkin Donuts original, I just brew it at home. We don't have DD here, but when we headed East this summer on vacay I stopped at one every chance I got. The nearest one is in Wisconsin Dells, which is over 3 hours away I think

I have noticed becoming a lot warmer in general lately. I don't have the big down comforter on me at night like I used to.

Not much new here. I'm increasingly uncomfortable and taking it as easy as possible. Starting to be amazed at how soon the babies will be here!

I still have one coffee per day (we get really good fair trade coffee through coffeeCSA.org) and drink a lot of peppermint tea. Though my husband keeps telling me pregnant ladies are supposed to be hot, I'm still cold all the time.

Hey ladies! Can't believe I am already 22 weeks. I have been doing really well except some nights not sleeping too well. Getting used to the belly on my side. Still team green and the further I go the more it is not phasing me. Finally felt the babies kicking yesterday. It was awesome! My husband felt it too.

QOTW: I LOVE hot chocolate with whipped cream on top but with steamed mik and lately dairy is not my friend so it's kind of a cruel joke. So I stick to ginger tea.

I've been feeling warm & love being so in the winter vs pregnant in the summer, although it's been a really warm winter here in Louisiana. My favorite drink is coffee. I quit drinking coffee during the first trimester, but have once again resumed.

I don't really have a warm drink that I can think of. I have been freezing this entire pregnancy. I'm usually burning up, so this has been quite a change for me!

I'm still on modified bed rest, I'm quickly getting more and more uncomfortable. Today I put a note on the door that says not to ring the bell if you're just dropping off a package. I've been shopping online a lot and got tired of getting up to answer the door when it was just a package. I have a nest built on the couch with 4 pillows and an ottoman. It's quite a production getting in and out.

They threw me a shower at work last week. I was so touched! I've only been working there since August, and my Dr. pulled me out after Christmas, so I really didn't think they would have one. It was really nice! We have almost everything we need now, and I'm ordering the last few things. I just hope I'm not forgetting anything! It's hard to have to do it all from home.

My favorite hot drink is coffee. We have a Keurig and it is the best thing ever. I've still been having an occasional small cup a day.

I had an unexpected appt on Friday because I was bleeding a little bit, barely anything actually. Everything is fine, no contractions and cervix is fine. But my doc pulled me from work that day. Today was the first day home from work, fighting the boredom is challenging for me, I have a hard time just resting. And I have my first NST tomorrow, not sure what to expect of that.

I'm a coffee lover! I've switched to half calf or decaf. And recently I've been enjoying a new berry tea DH got for me. And I am no where near as hot this pregnancy as I was last pregnancy.

Nothing really major going on right now. I have my 28 week appointment next Weds, so I will know at that time what they are measuring at! I can't wait to see them again .. I posted a few weeks back about pain in my right side that was pretty severe at times and my OB said it was RLP... As a FTM, I never thought it would feel like that!! Thank to the ladies who responded to that post!

My favorite warm drink is hot chocalate by far! I am finding myself freezing during the day, and warm (almost hot) at night!

I'm due August 16th - but doctor says I'll probably deliver earlier than that.

Not sure if they are boys or girls yet - hoping my perinatal doctor makes an early guess this week! Also I hope to find out what type of twins they are as my obgyn didn't really say much about that.

I have a Doctors appointment on Thursday.

Will keep you all updated.

As for hot drinks - nope, I've only been craving cold. But that's always been the case for me. I like my drinks cold.

Hello all! It's awesome to see so many new MoM's! Congratulations!!

Well a lot has happened for us! Matthew David and Lillian Grace arrived last monday 1/23/2012! We had a early c-section at 36weeks 2days, due to Lilly growing faster than Matt. He weighed 4.8lbs and Lilly weighed 4.12lbs and are currently in the NICU. Lilly had fluid in her lungs and has been on oxygen but is making improvements every day!! While Matt keeps ticking along and is in a open crib and both are taking feedings..so hopefully they will be home very soon..the goal is for it to be Daddy's birthday present this weekend! (fingers crossed!!!)

As for hot or cold drinks..kinda both actually on freezing days a Carmel Machiato makes my day and on a hot day Sweet Tea always puts a smile on my face.

I'm off to the NICU for the day! Have a great day Ladies!

Um...lets see, I had a trip to L&D last Monday night for contractions. I had two bags of IV fluids pumped rather quickly into me (although I wasn't dehydrated) and three rounds of meds to stop the contractions. They also swabbed my cervix to see if I would go into labor in the next two weeks. That came back negative and the contractions finally stopped around 6:00 a.m.

I have an ultrasound and ob appointment tomorrow and can't wait to see the babies again and see how big they are growing. I'm guessing they are around 3 lbs each. I'm also anxious to see what my belly is measuring this week. I'm gonna go with 38/39 weeks.

We completed our nursery this weekend and continue to get amazing gifts from everyone for the bables.

Fav. hot drink at the moment is a blueberry and pom tea with splenda but usually it would be hot chocolate with godiva chocolate liquer. I'm very hot all the time these days. Like 57 is perfect and that rarely happens in Louisiana.

I have to say that i'm glad this pregnancy is mainly in the winter! I am always burning up and always feel so warm. Lately i've been drinking Gatorade on Ice.. anyting in a big cup full of ice will do. DH gets cold at night and wants to turn on the little space heater.. that's when I wake up and have to tell him "No, it's way too hot" lol.

Favorite warm drink is either a peppermint mocha, hazelnut coffee, or hot chocolate. I can never pick just one favorite. The only thing I crave though are cold drinks, the colder the better. Ice water, popsicles, frapps from Starbucks, and ice chips. I'm definitely warm throughout this pregnancy, before I was always cold. Kind of enjoying not having to bundle up with layers to stay warm.

Update: I finally got signed out of work so last week was my first week home. It was perfect timing because I can barely walk at this point. At my 36 week appt. last week the MFM said the boys were at 6lbs 12 oz and 5lb 9oz (based on u/s) but I know those can be way off. I can't believe I made it to "full term"...37 weeks tomorrow. I had my first internal last week and so far no progress at all. I'm starting to think these boys are never going to come!

We had our 20 week scan on Friday and even though they had said they 'thought' they were boys before that, at this appointment it was totally confirmed that we are having mono/di BOYS!

My husband is thrilled, the babies were both flashing their junk all over the place. The MFM dr. told us that in all his years doing ultrasounds he hadn't seen kids like ours flashing him in a long time. Great, we have flashers.

But we are team blue all the way!!!

We found out we are having 2 boys and 1 girl!!!

Mostly I have been drinking cold or room temperature drinks. This is the first winter of my life that I'm not freezing all the time, it is wonderful!!! The babies have warmed me up to a normal level!
