I got this free at some baby show I went to and at first I thought it was dumb, but now I think I'm going to use it. I'm just tring to figure out if it's going to get me nothing but eye rolls. I know I shouldn't care since it's my baby, but I sort of do.

This! Especially the last part. I really hope I can buy that sign somewhere!
Love it! However this is coming from a person who has a magnet on the refrigerator that states " STOP wash your hands"
This is what I am not sure about. I feel like if she's in the carseat or in a stroller they probably won't - but I've never had an infant before! I will definitely use it if she comes early and has any respiratory issues, but beyond that - I'm still deciding. Either way, it was free

You should probably patent this now. You'll make a fortune!

I'm the same way. I'm a nurse and a handwashing freak! I am a bit of a germaphobe, but I know the things people carry on their hands.

I do like that though.

I think its a really cute idea that gets the point across esp. since cold/flu season will be in full swing! I have been on the other side where tons of random strangers will come up and "want to see the baby" and then end up touching his feet or hands. (The old ladies are the worst at the touching) You can always put it on there at first and then take it off if you dont need it!
This for me too, even at church we never had a problem with the old ladies, at least not when she was in her car seat or a carrier.
I got it free at a baby/pregnancy show, but you can buy them at mytinyhands.com

I don't think it's obnoxious because it's your baby so it's your choice! But I would definitely buy the one Beckybeth mentioned, lol. That would be more my style
My BFP Chart
This.
Considering the number of people I see in bathrooms not washing their hands, I think I'd keep it. At least for a good laugh anyways! We get a lot of moms bringing in their babies to my cafe and I see all these people touching them and grabbing their little fingers...which then go into their little mouths. Ick.

I dont think its obnoxious at all and to be honest I wish I would have had one for DS, I couldn't believe how many strangers would try to touch DS when he was a newborn. Whenever I see a baby I will usually say something to the mother about how cute they are, what beautiful eyes they have, etc...BUT I would NEVER touch a strangers baby and even with my close friends I always wash my hands or use purell before handling their children.
Haha- good sign, but I've learned that people in general don't like to read.
That's the reason H is so insistent on babywearing. When H wears a baby, he goes into momma-bear-mode and practically growls if anyone tries to touch our kid. He's a fairly intimidating looking guy to begin with. He's my "Don't touch" sign.
But really, whenever I've gone out with DS (when he was an infant), if he was in the carseat no one messed with him. They may have touched his feet, but I always had socks on him and they asked first.
