Last night DH and I went to a family birthday for about three hours, during which I was sitting at the kitchen table and getting up at random intervals to walk around, grab a drink etc.
After sitting at the kitchen table for 30 min or so, I got up and had serious pain behind both of my knees to the point that I almost couldn't walk. Considering I am well into the second trimester, I know that leg pain is common and chalked it up to that for the time being. I came home (after a 30 min drive) and jumped into a warm bath to to try and alleviate the symptoms, and when I got out I did some light stretching (I do prenatal yoga pretty regularly) and elevated my legs when I went to bed.
Fast forward to a couple of hours later when I inevitably had to get up and pee, and I could barely walk to the bathroom. Sitting on the toilet to pee was almost putting me in tears. The pain in my legs felt like a mix between pressure and growing pains.
Thinking this is weird, I call my Dr. office this morning and they have me go in later today. My doc examined me and sent me for an ultrasound to rule out DVT. I was able to have the ultrasound done immediately and there was no sign of DVT (but I am grateful they checked as a precaution).
The radiologist said she thought it just had to do with LO's position and she must be hitting nerves or something, but I was curious if anyone else has had a similar issue? It seems so strange to me that is results in pain on both sides.

Thanks Amberlynn, it is feeling better now
Marlysmonet - yeah, I think I was in the same scenario as your friend, because it has been ok the past couple of days. Crazy what pregnancy does to us! Hope everything continues to go well.
