Trouble TTC

What's with my chart? Just crash already!

My dang chart just keeps plugging away at the same range and I just want my temp to crash and AF to arrive so I can start my first Clomid cycle. I've had numerous BFNs, so I know I'm not pregnant. I think I ovulated for the first time this month, but tomorrow I will be 16 DPO and AF is no where in sight. I know people can have a longer LP, but I don't get why. On top of that, my boobs have been in so much pain since 3 DPO, to the point where I've not been able to sleep on my stomach or touch my boobs. I just want to start my Clomid cycle and have my boobs back already!!

Edit - I changed one fo the temps for a day that I got two temps and it totally changed my chart to what Vicki was saying! Thanks!!

  • i think FF is misreading your temps, i don't think your real temp rise was the day after it's saying.  so you are not as far into your luteal phase as you think.  just my professional opinion ha ha

  • So do you think I am actually 14 DPO today then? What day do you think the real rise was? I think next time we need to BD for a couple days after the OPK too in case the egg is shy to release.

  • yeah i think you ovulated on the 20th, and rise was on the 21st (starting your DPO).  i never had a temp rise on the days i had a + on an ovulation predictor, it was always after.  so i am guessing if your LP is normal, your period is coming tomorrowish.

  • Ok cool, thanks! I hope. How did you figure that out so that I know for next time?

  • You are totally right! Oh my gosh, so I woke a few times and had a couple different temp readings. I just entered the other one, and look what my chart looks like now!!! Dang you are good!

just always look for a BIG temp spike (with sustained high temps following it), and then you can tell that you ovulate the day before.  i have been doing this for a LONG time heheh.    if you track monthly you will start to see a cycle and get a general idea for pre- and post O temps.   but really once you start clomid , if you are monitored, you can skip the temping since the Dr  / ultrasound / bloodwork will tell you everything.
