Anyone else having menstrual type cramps?

I've been getting menstrual type cramps on/off all day. It feels like i'm about to start my period. Anyone else having this? It's not like RLP (I've been having that too, this is different). I did spend the last couple nights painting the nursery so maybe I just over did it. Hope I didn't jinx myself with yesterday's "ive never been to L&D post".

I was getting them a little bit, earlier tonight. I started getting BH right after. I drank some water, went to the bathroom, and then it went away and still hasn't returned. Maybe you're having mild BH and it's making you achey?

i have had a few days where i felt mildly "crampy." they were also days where i had done a lot physically, and usually my back was hurting too.

i can't decide if they are actual cramps, or BH, or just discomfort from my daughter stretching/squirming.

i swear, i'm regressing back to the first trimester with my exhaustion, achey-ness and weepiness. i'm just hoping i don't start puking again.

Ive had this a little last night and this morning, accompanied with tightening of the uterus... From descriptions here, I was kind of scared that they were real contractions. I'm glad to hear others are having them too!

I get crampy every now and then. Today I'm having cramps in my sacral area, just like I used to on my period. I'm just watching it and hydrating. If it doesn't get worse, I'm not worried.

I just got back from L&D for charley-horse like cramping. I was told that if I have menstrual-like cramping that occurs 4-6 times in an hour after increasing my water and resting, I am to return. Maybe you should time them and then call your doctor?

I've had a lot of menstrual type cramping lately and feeling pressure as well as BH (never had this with DS). On Thursday I had it for 7 hours and it didn't stop so I went to the hospital. I had rested and laid on my left side for quite a while but nothing had changed. They did an U/S and checked my cervix and everything was perfect. I'm still quite uncomfortable but at least it seems that baby isn't on the way, which is a relief. Apparently they can occur frequently with BH.

Thanks everyone. I started getting this last Sunday/Monday maybe 2-3x/day just enough to notice them. But yesterday they started around 3pm and lasted a good 12 hours. They are on/off and just like mild period cramps. If I wasn't pregnant I would think my period is coming. I haven't had anymore since 3am so i'm hoping they're over. I think I might have just over done it the past couple days trying to get the nursery ready and painted.
