Today I went to BRU and bought some of the last items we needed. I am finding myself strangely excited about the Arm and Hammer diaper pail. I also can't wait to use the infant seat and the Mei Tai carrier. I'm not sure why these things excite me so. What are you guys strangely excited about?

I haven't even ordered the stroller yet, but I stalk it online because I'm obsessed. We finally decided on the UB Vista, but now I'm stuck on a color I like. I'm sure once it gets here I will be immediately assembling and playing with it, like I've pretty much done with everything else. I must have spent an hour and a half playing with and getting used to the infant seat.

Her mobile came today in the mail and it is SUPER cute! I ordered it off Zulily and took a chance on the colors, but they're perfect. And I was surprised that it played music...I didn't remember it saying so on the sale! It was like Christmas opening the package today...

I totally did this after I read your post!! I wanted to make sure I could put LO in there myself with no help (although mine is a Mei Tai carrier). So, my little 20lb Boston Terrier was the stand in. She instantly calmed down and started nodding off. I sent a picture to my mom, to which she replied "ur weird." LOL

Is it the Snugabunny? That's what we have and I LOVE it. It was one of the first things I put together. I am still amazed at what a pain in the a$$ that thing was to assemble... but I've found that with all of this baby stuff!

I so hope someone buys this for us! But I will have it regardless!

We went with the Snug a Bunny bouncer, too. We also got the swing. They are so freaking adorable, but I agree that they were not easy to assemble.
A little tiny pair of pants I got him when I found he was a boy. I can't wait to see him in them! Also, the bouncer...it's so darn cute.
My H's favorite thing is some little toy that attaches to the carseat. He's always playing with it and has declared it is his favorite gift....he's so cute.
The excersaucer. We only got it because we did the BRU trade-in with our registry completion. We had 3 items to trade-in, but since they wouldn't let us use the third discount for a changing table (which we need really badly), we had to use it on something, so we decided to spoil LO a little early. We thought it was just an excersaucer, that he wouldn't be able to use if for a few months, but when we got it home and actually looked at it, we discovered that it starts off as an activity mat, then sets up as the excersaucer, then transforms to an activity table. I was way more excited knowing that he can use it from birth on up.
