I've been feeling like crap for the past 2-3 weeks with a sinus infection. I started feeling better the week before last and after starting my antibiotics on Saturday last weekend when I started my stims, I was feeling 100% by Sunday.
Flash forward to now - I can't believe this but I'm 99.9% sure I'm catching a cold. I go in tomorrow for monitoring. At my last appt. my RE thought I'd be triggering Sunday and ER is going to be Tuesday.
Were any of you sick during your ER/ET? From what I've read online, it shouldn't make a difference as long as you don't have a fever (which I never get with a cold)...but of course I can't help but freak out a bit.
TIA lovely ladies.
Re: posting from IFV - Having a cold during stims/ER/ET
Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!
Baby Dust To All!!!
Unfortunately, since I got pg, my immune system took a hit and my cold turned into a major sinus infection and ear infection about 2-3 weeks later. Take your vitamins and drink lots of fluids.
I thought I was starting to feel a cold coming on for my first cycle. My RE told me to just watch and make sure I don't get a fever. I started practically main lining EmergenC and ended up not getting sick.
Good luck!!! Fingers are crossed for you!!!
