NT Scan Timing?

My Dr. office scheduled my NT/1st tri optional screening u/s for next week the 8th. I am 10 weeks today. So I will only be 10w5d then. I didn't think we could get it until 11 something weeks. I kept confirming with her but she said any time from 10 weeks until 13w6d or something. Can anyone help clarify?

My doc told me they usually do the NT scan between 10 and 13 weeks... I didnt need one, so Im not positive as to when the best timing is.

But, GL none the less!

Mine was at 12(+ some odd number of days) weeks, but that's just when I happened to have my first U/S since I didn't find out I was PG until ~9 weeks.

My midwife said usually they do it between 10-13 weeks, so I'd say you're right in the range.

Wow... its kind of crazy that this topic is yielding all the same time frames... when this question was asked when I was here, you had answers all over the board!

My stuff says 10w through 13w6d as well.

My regular OB also said 10-13 weeks but when I callled the high risk OB where the US is actually performed they said its not done until 11 1/2 weeks thru 13 wk 6 days. SInce they are the ones who perform them I am going with their reccommendation and ascheduled at 11 wks 3 days.

I just had mine yesterday and was asked to reschedule for next week. I was 10 weeks 6 days. She said it has to be between 11-13w6days and that the baby was too small.

My OB (and previos OB) both said 11 - 13 weeks.

No, it actually needs to be between 11wks 3 days and 13 wks 6 days. I think yours is too early. I just scheduled mine and they wouldn't let me do it this Monday (when I have another appointment with them and would be 11 wks 6 days exactly) because it was on the early side.
