Sick with a fever and sore throat :(

I felt sooo crappy yesterday.  Body aches, fatigued. Basically the worst I've felt this entire pregnancy.

I keep taking my temp. and it's anywhere from normal range to 101.0.  I've been sweating this fever all night.  Now I wake up with such a sore throat I can barely swallow without agonizing pain.

I've taken tylenol (twice--6 hours apart--both last night).  I've had tea, honey and soup. 

I'm calling my regular dr to see if she can check me out. If not, I'll see if my OB is available (which I highly doubt)

    Thanks for the well wishes girls.  My regular Dr is booked today, my OB is also booked today so I got another OB for 11 am.

    I hope I can be assured that baby is ok.

    Do you have an urgent care option? My regular doc couldn't squeeze me in, and my OB's office insisted I see the regular doctor. So they sent me to urgent care with an appointment time. I was in and out faster than any other appointment and it wasn't the ER!

    I've been fighting a cold since Tuesday, so I feel your pain. I don't know if it's the fact that I'm avoiding taking medicine or what, but this feels like the worst cold I've had in years. I had an OB appointment on Wednesday and she didn't seem at all concerned, but that doesn't make me any less miserable. :(

    Good luck at the doctor today and I hope you are feeling better soon!

    An OBGYN (not mine) was able to see me this morning.  I got weight, BP was taken and my temp. was taken too. (a mild fever) They didn't prescribe me anything.  Just keep doing what I'm doing.

    Upside:  Got to hear the baby's hb (even though we have a doppler).  It was soooo loud!  That gave me some reassurance.
