I'm not sleeping any more. Which I know will get worse but I'd like to get as much as I can now. I'm constantly too hot or too cold and no position is comfortable. My hips hurt no matter what, back and belly aren't bothering me. Can I take something? I slept 3-4 hours last night and with my depression this just won't work.

I slept like a ROCK my entire pg with DS and I totally attribute it to the relaxation stuff I listened to while falling asleep for my HB practice. I'd be happy to burn it to a CD if you're interested. It can't hurt? I'm sorry-not sleeping is miserable

Are you sleeping with anything between your knees? Under your belly? The way I sleep, the snoogle pillow thing never would have worked for me but the Boppy Belly wedge was a dream come true.
You could also try to prenatal yoga. Go see a chiropractor who can make some adjustements to help ease all the stress and tension the pregnancy is putting on your body.
Good sleep hygiene is essential to relax too. NO computer, tv or phone for the 2 hours before bed. The lighting messes with your melatonin. This time of year it's hard to regulate the temp so opt for colder in the house. You can always snuggle under the blankets but once it's too hot in your bedroom, it's impossible to get comfy.
I have some HB things. I haven't thought about trying them to sleep. I'll give it a shot.
I've been taking 2 Benadryl every night for the past week. My OB cleared it after complained about how poorly I was sleeping. With the Benadryl, I'm waking up to go to the bathroom a lot less frequently and after I do get back in bed, it's a lot easier to get back to sleep because I'm so groggy.

my doc finally prescribed me ambien because i couldn't sleep at all while pregnant. I did the benedryl every night for probably the first 2 tris, but by 3rd tri, it wasn't cutting it anymore. i ended up only taking about 1/2 or 1/4 pill, but it was enough to get me to sleep.
and ditto about the pillow between your legs for your hips. they were the killer for me too
