It's about this woman who had a trachea transplant that used her own stem cells and now her windpipe is pretty much totally normal and healed. I just sent it to my DH and told him that's something that we'll have to keep an eye on for the long term future. Can you imagine if a surgery like that became the norm and they could fix our wee one's airways? Or better yet, their esophoguses?? I would be freaking THRILLED!
