Reflux Moms who use Rice cereal

Our DD has reflux and we have been adding 2tps of rice cereal/4oz of formula per our pedi's suggestion.  At first I just bought basic gerber rice cereal, but then the pedi wanted us to use whole grain rice cereal.  I just started her on it today and it doesn't dissolve as well into the milk.  This is clogging the bottle and making for melt downs while she is eating. We have been using slow flow nipples, but it looks like I will be going out to get different ones tonight. 

So my question is what flow nipple do you use?

    We are doing the same as you...2 tsp. per 4 oz.  She only does this with her night time bottle though.  She uses Dr. Browns bottles and we use a level 3 nipple.  I've even made the hole bigger.  She normally doesn't have any problems.  Oh- I also use whole grain cereal.

    We use Dr. Brown's with level 3 nipple. DD still leaks alot out of the corners of her mouth, but it works best for us.

    Did your pedi say why you would add cereal to formula and not just use enfmil AR formula or Similac Sensitive for Spit Up both have the Rice Cereal already in it? I am just curious... our pedi just told us to us the AR formula. It may be a dumb question Im just wondering...

    My LO is on Gentlease for gas.She was doing so good on it, that the Dr. didn't want to risk switching her again and her having tummy issues. So instead on Enfamil AR, we just add our own cereal
