Sesame Stree Live ?

I'm tempted to buy tickets - they're discounted through here. Has anyone ever been? Is it appropriate for an almost 2 year old? Is it like Yo Gabba G where I heard that kids didn't really sit and danced around? Is it worth splurging for floor tickets or would the cheap $10 be ok?

    We went to one of these and got floor tickets.  I think they were totally worth it since the characters were so close.  DS was almost two at the time, and very high energy so we weren't sure how it would go, but he watched the whole thing and loved it.  It might have also been the popcorn though...

    We've gone the past 2 years. Once we got the middle tickets and the next year we got the floor tickets. At 2 she kind of lost interest at intermission and was ready to go home. Last year she was much more into it and loved it. I don't know if this had anything to do with going to Sesame Street and meeting the characters there so it didn't freak her out so much. I think we are going to do it again this year because DS is in love with Elmo.

    Yes!  We took DD for her second birthday last year and she loved it.  I'm really sad that we won't be able to take her again this year.  We didn't get the floor tickets, but DD still had a great time.  It's so much fun!

    We took DD1 at that age and got floor tickets.  In hindsight, I wish we'd gotten the cheap seats.  We lasted 15 minutes before we had to leave.  The characters being that big and close freaked her out!  I don't know your little one's personality--mine was (and still is) a pretty timid kid in general--but just wanted to offer that perspective before you spend the extra money for floor seats.

    Thanks everyone for the feedback! It sounds like SSL happens every year? I think I'm going to hold off till next year. DD has been displaying some issues lately when it comes to sensory overload and I think she'll prob freak out and we have to leave quickly. I entered the contest, so maybe I'll win some tickets then won't have to worry about it :)
