2 c/s in 2 years?

Anyone go through this. DD is 5 months and just found out I'm pregnant with #2. I really don't think a VBAC is possible since I have a septate uterus, but am wondering about others' experiences of 2 c-sections in as many years. TIA.

I had two c-sections fifteen months apart. I wasn't a candidate for VBAC because at my Dr's practice they don't consider them unless it has been 22 months since your previous delivery. The second c-section was easier emotionally since the first was an emergency c-section; . Its harder to slow down and actually ''recover'' though since you will have a toddler you will be chasing around, etc. Just make sure to have plenty of help after the second c/s.

2 c-sections in 362 days.

I was a VBAC candidate depending on which OB in the practice you spoke to. My water broke and I got the short stick and got a repeat.

I'm on my third c sec in 3 years... I was going to try for a vbac with my last one, but I went passed my due date

I had pretty much the identical experience-found out I was pregnant right before my 1st turned 5 months old, and my kids are 12.5 months apart.

My 2nd pregnancy was a breeze. My 2nd c-section recovery was longer than my first (but in the grand scheme of things, not that bad) but that was due to complications that were completely unrelated to closely spaced births.

Mine were 20 months apart and the second was so much easier than the first! Even with having a toddler to care for, in addition to a newborn, my 2nd recovery was SO MUCH easier than my first. I had DH's help the first week after I came home from the hospital (plus he did a lot with DD1 for the 2 days I was in the hospital) but I really didn't need any help beyond that first week. I did have people bring dinners durring the second week as well but I didn't have any help in caring for the kids. And my DH works incredibly long hours (especially at the time of year DD2 was born).

I had a VBAC 17 mos after my first c/s, and had a rsc almost 12 months after my vbac. I'll be just at 2 years with this final c-sec. None of the deliveries were ideal or cake walks, but they weren't awful either. Biggest complaint was hemorrhoids after each delivery.

I'll be having my second one about 11 months and 1 week after the first. The ob is fine with it. They don't consider a vbac until they're 18 months apart, but I was not a candidate regardless.

First two were 3 days short of 24 months apart. I could not vbac because my issues are anatomy based, not breech baby or something that would change from pregnancy to pregnancy. Congrats and good luck.
