What do you think will be right? I have had a feeling since the second I knew I was pregnant that it was a girl but all my dreams are of a boy? Did this happen to anyone and what did you end up having?

I too had a bunch of boy dreams, but my gut always said girl. We're having a girl.

I don't personally believe that either of those - dreams OR intuition - can really "predict" what you're having. Obviously, one or the other will be right, as there are only two options. Whichever one ends up being right though, I don't believe it really was an indicator. Just a coincidence, IMO.

Had a feeling since I got my BFP that it was a girl, was hoping and hoping for a boy...we got a girl. Usually your instincts are right. Smile

Instinct definitely over dreams. I always thought I was having a boy, u/s confirmed he is a boy and still every baby dream has been a girl. No idea why I'm dreaming about girls.

I had a similar situation. I was just positive that I was having a boy, but every dream I had was of a little girl. Turns out we are having a little girl. I could have cared less either way! Honestly, there is no sure way to tell which you will have, but it is fun to look back and see which was right!

I know what I'm having & I still feel like the doctor's are wrong. Don't ask me wrong, intuition maybe. but GL & you're right - it's definitely a 50% shot.

Prior to getting pregnant, not really thinking about pregnancy or having kids at the time... About 3 years ago I dreamt I had a baby girl & was lying on the floor playing with her & holding her up in the air giggling in front of a sliding glass door...

A month or two ago, I dreamt I had a baby boy lying next to me in bed with the most sweetest bright eyed face... Gut feeling told me boy, had a boy name picked out & everything (Liam Sean Murphy) - wasn't even thinking girl. Thus to my surprise we are having a sweet baby girl!

I don't know what we're having yet but my gut says 'girl' so strongly that if money wasn't an object we'd already have a complete nursery, and it would be pink. Sorry I can't be more helpful, but I wanted to throw it out there that a study at the University of Arizona proved that mother's intuition about gender is right 70% of the time.

There's an old wives tale that says, you actually dream about the opposite sex of the baby you will be having.

For me this was true. My intuition said boy. And I was having all girl dreams.

See I'm the opposite. My gut say's boy boy boy but my dreams are saying girl. We'll know soon I'm only 14 1/2 weeks so still a little to early to tell.

Thanks everyone I was just curious what everyone though or experienced I know its a 50/50 shot and ill be happy no matter what as long as my baby is healthy. Still cant wait to find out though only a few more weeks 2/28!!! YAYAY
