Hospital Hand-outs

Been trying to think of something cute for DH to hand out in the waiting room when he goes out to announce that she is here.

I know the "tradition" is cigars, but that is NMS & most people in my family do not smoke. They make bubble gum in pink/ blue shaped like cigars, but I'm looking for something more creative. Any ideas? TIA!

    Does DH have a hobby of some type that he could use as inspiration? Like my DH is a golfer, so I think it would be cute to hand out golf balls or tees....although my DH is also a cigar smoker, so he will probably hand out those if anything!

    He does golf & play poker. We are big Georgia Bulldogs & New England Patriots fans..

    But we are having a girl, so I would like it to be somewhat girlly, KWIM? If he were to hand out golf balls, or poker chips, etc, I would want to attach a tag with a saying incorporating that It's A Girl. For a boy, it would be easy "Daddy's got a new caddy. It's a boy!" or "Chip off the old block, It's a boy!"

    Any ideas in that reguard?

    Do you have a nickname for the baby? before we knew the gender we called lo jelly bean. I was thinking of handing out jelly beans. I have also seen people give out hershey bars and they color in the she or he based on the gender.

    We want don't want anyone at the hospital with us. So we are covered there. But at our Baby Que the hubby is brewing a girly beer for her and we had labels made just for her.

    mrskinsler- Love your idea of having a "Baby Que"!  If all of my family weren't meeting her at the hospital, I might steal it!
