I met with her Pedi before she was born and when I mentioned that she is/was breech he said he does a sonogram on the hips of female breech babies, just to rule out hip dysplasia. I had her by c section 12/27 and her sonogram was yesterday and she is AOK! Yay! No idea why she wouldn't turn. Guess she just didn't want to go head first into unfamiliar territory, who can blame her I guess ![]()

Re: about my breech baby girl
Mom to Carter (6), and Calianne (1).
Proud VBAC, natural birth, breastfeeding, cloth diapering momma!
I'm surprised how common breech position is. When the tech told me breech at 30 weeks I thought it was terrible, but it ended up being not so bad. Her legs still stick out when she's naked (diaper changes, baths) and the radiologist said he could tell she was breech (this is at 5 1/2 weeks of age) because her hips felt "soft", but they will correct themselves. This is a pic from tummy time today, with her little breech legs, but I think this is normal for being on their bellies. Breech babies just have more personality
