(NBR) Mazda CX-7 - Thoughts

Hi Ladies,

So this little girl is coming so soon and I still need to get another vehicle. I currently have a Chevy Cobalt 4door that just does not have the space for DD, SS, new baby and our dog...So I as hoping some of you may know a little bit about the Mazda CX-7 and if you would reccomend it. It is a 2007.

Re: (NBR) Mazda CX-7 - Thoughts

  • My husband was looking at these for me for a potential new vehicle. He specifically said that 2007 was a bad year for the Mazda CX-7s. He was looking at 2010 and up as they fixed a lot of iusses and areas of user complaints between 2007 and then. Personally, I am looking at the 2013 Ford Escape that will be coming out in Summer.

  • Have you looked at the Kia Sorento?  That's what I am looking at for our next car.

  • I have the CX-7 (thought it's a 2011), got it a week before I found out I was pregnant (funny side note, when I picked it up at the dealer it was parked in one of those pink stork parking spaces, and I didn't even have a clue that I might be pregnant at the time). I think it will be a great family vehicle, so roomy in the back seat and trunk, leather interior is a bonus as its easy to clean up spills and messes.

I would say its a great family vehicle, and as for the Mazda quality, I've always driven a Mazda, and have never had an issue with any of them

  • I have a 2010 CX-7 and we love it. We have me, DH, DS, and another son on the way plus our dog. Sometimes when we travel we are strapped for space but I can admit, I am an over packer! We love it though and will keep it with the second baby.

  • Our next car was going to be the CX-7, but we need more room with two kids. We test drove one and I loved it!!
i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.
  • I don't have the cx-7 but I did get a Mazda 3 last May.  Literally a month before I found out I was pregnant. I LOVE IT, and would def have purchased the cx-7 if I'd known we were going to have a baby.

  • My sister has the 07 CX7 and she loves it, has had it for a few years and never had any issues with it.

  • Does the CX-7 have 2 rows or 3?  I know the CX-9 has 3 rows.  With 3 kids, I would opt for the CX-9, especially if your SS is still in a booster.  It is really hard to fit 3 kids across most cars and boosters make it even harder since you have to stick you hand between the seat to buckle.

  • I have a 2007  CX-7, and i absolutely LOVE it.  I would buy one again in a heartbeat.  I've owned it for 2 years now, haven't had any problems, and I expect to keep it around for a few more years at least.  I'd definitely recommend them.  :)
