need rec for homes

My friend just moved from Miami and her husband will be working off Northside Dr. and are looking for homes that will be a closer commute for him. Any ideas on family oriented communities around that area?

    Like northside dr in the midtown area? Or closer to Buckhead or Vingins? We leave in a neighborhood in west midtown and its pretty family oriented. There are a couple of resell houses and a couple of home I think are rent. On the other side of the community they are still building new houses as well. We like it most everyone has young families and there are family events plus we have a community pool and playground which is nice. It is in atlanta public school system through but our community is fighting the new school redestricting to keep all our area in the local elementary school.

    Dunwoody is totally family friendly.  Our realtor lives there are she is awesome.

    He'll be working closer to midtown. I've suggested Dunwoody, Sandy Springs and possilby Smyrna?

    I'd check into West Midtown (Westside).  Good deals still to be found.
