Ever since I nursed my first son almost 3 years ago it totally messed with my mind in one unique way. I have not had one sip of cows milk since then and the very thought of doing so grosses me out. Nursing my second son has completely reinforced this oddball way of thinking. I can still eat dairy products but for some reason I simply can't bring myself to drink plain milk. Does anyone else feel this way? My husband finds it totally odd and likes to poke fun at me. So for the foreseeable future...soy milk it is.

Re: Milk...no thanks!
well, we are the only mammal that drinks another mammals milk...
that being said, I like milk. And all dairy (do you not consume any dairy, then?). However, my son's stools have been green since 3 weeks of age so I gave it up and am noticing an improvement so I might be off it for awhile.
It's sad, I miss cheese and yogurt the most.

Oh no, I eat the crap out of dairy products. I do believe I would die without cheese and ice cream.
That's such a bummer about your sons intolerance for your dairy but it's great that you're seeing an improvement. I hope all stays well on the poop front.
