Ann Arbor OB/GYN Recs (VBAC?)

Hi everyone,

My family and I will be moving to Ann Arbor this summer when I'll be about 24 weeks pregnant. Can anybody recommend an OB (also open to midwife) in the area? I'd like to establish a relationship with an OB before actually moving there. I'll likely be delivering at UM Hospital.

I'm hoping for a VBAC, so if anybody has had a positive VBAC experience with an Ann Arbor OB I'd love to know!

The University of Michigan Nurse-Midwives Service has a high rate of VBAC. I suggest checking them out.

I don't know about her VBAC history, but I absolutely loved my OB! I saw Joann Vicari at IHA West Arbor OB/GYN. She's on the west side of Ann Arbor. She delivers at St Joes.

I am planning a VBAC in May and switched from my OB to Jane Bingham (a midwife through UM) this time around. I love her! I did a ton of research before picking a provider and even toyed with a home birth. The midwives I talked to about home birth recommended the midwives at UM over any OBs. Good luck!
