I'm asking this for my SIL, who is currently TTC with endo. She is seeing an OB/GYN, but is thinking of switching to an RE. She just sent me a text with this info, and I'm hoping you guys can help me provide her with some insight!
She took 50mg clomid CDs5-9. O was confirmed via u/s. She also ended up having two ruptured oviaran cysts, but the doctor said she might still be able to get PG. Progesterone was 21.5 at 6dpo. She started spotting the next day, and the spotting has turned to more like AF-bleeding. The doctor told her to keep taking PG tests, and that if they stay negative, start clomid again on Saturday, which would only be 11dpo. Both of us find this a bit concerning considering it might still be too early to even get a positive PG test.
Her doctor said, "sometimes these things just happen and we don't know why."
Does anyone have any experience/advice/ideas as to what might be going on?
ETA: She also had a m/c and D&C in October. Not sure if that could have something to do with it. She's had continuous spotting ever since the D&C.
