When did you start using your BJCS?

I have a double snap n go but we just got our BJCS.  My husband wants to get the car seat adapters for it but I'm leaning more towards using the DSNG as long as we can since it's so light. Sooner than later they are just going to be too heavy in those car seats in a stroller so I figured at that point we would just take them out of their car seats and sit them directly in the BJCS. I also don't want to spend the money on the car seat adapters. Any thoughts on this?

    We got the bjcs when my girls were a month old. We got the car seat adapters and used them until the girls were 7/8 months old since that is when we moved to the convertible car seats. The bjcs steers so much better than the Deng so I ditched it after I got my bjcs. I sold it to another MoM for what I paid for it.

    We got our BJCS when the babies were just shy of 4 months old and chunking up to the point that I knew our days were numbered in the infant seats. So, I didn't get the car seat adapters. Our DSNG only cost $15 from a coworker of MH, and I sold it for the same, so it wasn't a huge deal but, had I known about the BJCS I think I would have gotten the infant seat adapters and used the infant seats a tiny bit longer.

    I got mine when the girls were about 5 months, and never even used the car seat adapters...not once. If I would've gotten it sooner, maybe. The DSNG was just so light and easy, that I used it until they went into convertible car seats (which was about 6 months because the infant seats where so heavy..and they never stayed asleep when transferring seat, so what's the point..and they were happier in the stroller out of the seat).

    I say save the money, but I'm one to talk!!! LOL!

    I just got the stroller/adapters at 5.5 months. They are small and I figure I can use it for a few more months. The horrible steering on the DSNG was hurting my back and the wheels were no good when there was some snow/ice. I figure I will be able to resell them and get some of the money back and it's worth it if it makes me life better even for a short time.

    We've been using ours since the boys were born, it really is amazing!  It's so light and easy to maneuver compared to the Double SNG.  I would highly recomend getting the car seat adapters!
