I cross-posted this in 3-6 months, but you gals always have the best ideas/input of these things. By the way, about the monitor thing from a couple of months ago - it was a defect and we got it fixed and now everything is fine. Yay.
One of my now 5 month olds twins has been waking up during the night (while his brother sleeps like a champ until he is disturbed by C's constant waking, oh joy). C does not open his eyes and is soothed by putting a pacifier in his mouth and rubbing his head or belly. He goes back to sleep for about 15 minutes or so (this number dwindles down to 5 as the night goes on) and starts crying again - it's not really a cry as much as a wail.
Part of me would like to let him work it out a bit, but I don't want to disturb E's sleep. He doesn't seem hungry, since the pacifier soothes him and he doesn't even open his eyes, but if you pick him up and feed him, he will eat, and that does buy you some time. Any other guesses on what to do here? It doesn't seem like night terrors, but something is making him unhappy. He does this sometimes during the day with naps as well, but they don't have as long of a duration and someone is usually awake to deal with him.
