seen a positive HPT.  I haven't thought about it in awhile but when I thought this cycle didn't work again, I gave up all hope.  Then when I found out I was pregnant I was afraid to jinx it.  Now it is just silly to pee on a stick.  I have all the reassurance I need.  I just think it is funny.  Sorry just had to share that with someone who would understand.

    I have never seen one either! Even after they confirmed it I was scared to POAS because I was afraid the lines would not be there and the same after the 1st and 2nd ultrasound.

    I swore I'd never pee on a stick, but DH made me for the scrapbook. I was scared to death!

    I saw my first one this time around.  My clinic does a first beta at 11 dpo and then a second usually two days later.  They don't give you the results from the first until you get the second.  Well, my first was on a Friday and due to a holiday, my second couldn't be done until Tuesday (15 dpo).  I was tired of leaving work bawling.  So, Monday night I used a FRER and got a very faint second line.  Since I had never seen a second line, I decided I would be happy with the positive beta I was sure to have and I didn't have to leave work before I got the call!

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    My betas were scheduled later than normal because of work and a holiday.  So, I cheated and POAS at 10dp5dt and got a second line! I then POAS every day until I could have my first beta, which was 16dp5dt! Since I too had never seen one, I couldn't get enough of it!

    After it was confirmed, I POAS.  DH thought I was ridiculous, but I wanted to actually see a positive test.  I was so good about not POAS during the 2ww.

    I saw the faintest line at 5dp5dt.  I never did it again because I was so afraid it would go away!  Even after my beta I never tried again.  It's sad how many BFNs I saw, and then once I was PG I was too petrified to POAS!
