I'm trying to find a comfortable position in the middle of the night. During the day I go upstairs to nursery to my glider. In the middle of the night I want to stay in bed.
Can I nurse baby if I'm propped up a little on pillows on my back? Baby would lay on my chest. I know gravity Is against us though but baby is sucking.
I haven't tried laying on my side yet.
Re: Bf laying down at night..

Ditto the above poster. I was afraid to try the side lying positing when DS was as young as yours (I didn't try it until he was a few months old) but after I did try it and figured it out, I regretted not trying it sooner. I do just as the pictures show in the link above. I roll slightly toward DS after he latches and place a pillow under by back. DS is old enough now that he lays on his back and turns his heard toward me, so he doesn't need anything for back support. I've also tried the other way mentioned but wasn't a fan of it for night feedings.
