2 Q's: LO only one NOT holding head up? & 3 month growth spurt?

My LO hates tummy time. He's always hated it but at night he only wants to sleep on his tummy on my chest. FTM so I wasn't sure when LO's will start getting good head control. We had 3 month pictures yesterday (he will be 3 months on Sunday) and she couldn't get any pictures on his tummy because he couldn't hold his head up. Anyone's else's LO not holding their head up?

Also, LO seems to be going through another growth spurt. Feeding times are out of whack and he's wanting to nurse constantly. We did get our first 5 hours stretch last night....haven't had one of those in forever. He bed-shares with us and will only sleep on my tummy or laying on his side w/ me. We attempted to put him in the RNP. The only way he would sleep last night in it was on his side! I nursed him to sleep around 11:30 and we placed him in it. He woke at 4:30 to eat and then wouldn't go back in it but slept again till 8:30. I think I read a while back about another growth spurt around 3 months???

DD has been able to for a while but I have a friend whose son is a week older and he just started to. I wouldn't stress right now but try t time more often with things for him to look at. He may be able to do it but just doesn't want to. As for the growth spurt, I think I've read there's one around 12 weeks!

Mine is 10 weeks and he still doesn't lift his head on his tummy either. He has pretty good head control when sitting upright, but on his tummy he'll just lay there on the side of his head and maybe turn from left to right but that's all. I wouldn't worry too much, they do things in their own time it seems.
