At 9 months DD was taking two naps I think - one about 1.5-2 hours after she got up for 45min-1hr. One after lunch/early afternoon (about 3 hours after she woke up from her first) for 1.5 hrs.

DS is taking two. The first nap about 2 hours after he wakes for the day about an 1.5 hours. The second about 3 hours after he wakes from his first and it is usually 1.5 - 2 hours. He is starting to be a really solid napper but still waking 1-3 times at night.

I have the worst napper ever, lol - she usually takes 2 naps a day (around 9am and 2pm) and they're only about 20-30 minutes each. i get so jealous when i hear about 2 hour naps, haha - i'd get a lot more done at home!

DS is random with his naps. Usually he does take a 20-30 minute nap at 12-1pm and a 45-60 minute nap at 4-5pm. A couple days a week he takes a thrid 30-45 minute nap at 8 or 9pm
At 9 months she took 2-3 naps depending on how long each one was. If they were only 30 minues then she would take 3...(9am, 12 pm, 3 pm). If they were an hour to an hour and a half then she would take 2 (10 am, 2 pm). At 10 months she started taking 1 nap for 2 and a half hours around 11 am. I noticed that if i nap next to her then she sleeps longer... but i don't sleep that much because i'm too busy looking at how cute she is.
Thanks ladies. I think I am right on track with regards to what you all are doing. I just was not sure if by now perhaps they should only be taking 1 nap...I guess that will come soon enough and until then I will just enjoy the quiet time to myself!
Honestly, it's still all over the place. Lately, for some reason, his naps have sucked. Today, for example, he hasn't napped literally all day. On a good day he takes about a two hour nap three to four hours after he wakes up and a late afternoon nap that can be anywhere from an hour in length to all the way to close to bedtime. (Sorry for the run on sentence).
