Bitter IF rant/vent
So I don't know if anyone remembers but I went on a ski trip last march right around what should have been my due date with the boys. There are 6 couples that we vacation/ski with every year or so. Right before the trip 3 of the women announced that they were 12 weeks pg. It sucked. The other had just gotten married and last was told she couldn't have kids but they never really wanted them.
In september the 3 that were pg had babies (1 was a 3rd child, 1 was a 2nd, and 1 was an oops I never wanted kids, of course it was first tries for the repeat kids) then in Oct we found out the chick that couldn't have/didn't want kids was 7 months pregnant. Not only it did it suck that she was pg but it sucked more that they didn't tell us. Fast forward to yesterday, saw on FB that the last girl is 8 months pregnant.
So yeah, in one year since the trip 5 out of 6 couples have had babies. 3 first month trying and 2 oops'. Guess who the only couple left is??
Sucks.

Ugh - I'm so so sorry.
It always seems to sting just a little bit more when it happens to a couple who "didn't really want kids." It's like, if you didn't really want them, then you would've taken stronger measures to ensure you didn't have them!!!

Baby B's heart stop beating at 9 weeks 5 days
Our little miracle baby is a boy.
Baby Boy Owen and Baby Girl Avery were born too early on Feb. 13, 2011 due to a pedunculated fibroid, incompetent cervix and suspected placental abruption.

Me= 37 and DH = 41
Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)
IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN
IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.
IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!
TTC#2: Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.
IVF #4: BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

I've started to think that when people say they don't want kids (especially when they've been married for a while) that they really do, but don't want to announce that they're having issues.
I can actually think of 2 women (one was a counselor while I was in college and the other I worked with about 5 years ago) who both said they didn't want kids. At the time, I was oblivious to IF and probably said stupid things. Now that I know what I know, I'm pretty sure they were covering up IF issues and I regret my naive comments.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.
