So I thought it would be fun to do w/DS (have DD paint my belly like a pumpkin) since he was due 10/27 (born 11/1) but we never did it. Then a friend said you should paint this one like an easter egg and have DS and DD paint your belly. May be a fun thing to do with them....anyone else doing it?
Re: Painting your belly like an Easter Egg? Anyone?
I see where you're going with this, and I like your energy, but I won't be doing this.
I don't really like the looks of naked pregnant bellies, that's just me. Even when I wasn't pregnant, I never exposed my mid-drift even though it's not real flabby. Self-conscious I guess.
BTW Lina, Greek Easter and regular Easter are a week apart! I wonder what Yaya is going to do? She'll be living with us for a while after the baby is born. I know my DH hopes she makes lamb. OPA!!
I may like this idea better and maybe I can go back and edit a pic of DS to add to his baby book....
I don't really care what my belly would look like but more for the kids (really DD) to have fun and do something special with this new baby on the way

I don't wear mid-drifts either....who does that nowadays and especially our age! LOL
Yup...its a week apart this year, so April 15th for us. Lamb is a MUST for Easter...w/yummy lemony roasted potatoes....of course koulourakia, tsoureki and red easter eggs!

Nope. Not doing it.
Baby will be out by the time easter gets here so I won't be doing it. I could see it being something fun to do with your older children, but since this is my first I wouldn't do it even if he was due a little later.
That is such a cute idea! I wanted to do it with DS (he was due 10-25, born 10-24) but we never did.
Maybe I will do the Easter egg this time around...
