XP: 30 wk appointment

So we've made it to 30 weeks! I was at the doctor's today for almost 3 hours... Had a NST today, and had 3 contractions in 35 mins. They had me take my procardia, drink a bottle of water and half of a gatorade. Then they switched babies and I only had 2 more contractions in an hour of monitoring, with the other half of the gatorade and another bottle of water. Gained 3 lbs in a week, which puts me at 34lbs/30 weeks and I went from measuring 37/38 wks last time, to 40/41 weeks this time. I was worried they were going to send me to L&D again, but since the contractions slowed down, I'm good for another week on bedrest. Next week another round of NSTs on Monday, and then Wednesday another growth scan.

Yay 30!!! I'm about to hit 31!! So thankful! I have my NST Wed and my next growth scan the following week <: I'm glad you had a good appointment! My NST at 28 weeks I was having BH's every three minutes, not enough to change my cervix luckily just super dehydrated from a sinus infection/mild flu...

Hi Sno -

I don't think I was dehydrated, I had 3 large glasses of water by my 12pm appt. While there for 2 1/2 hours I had 2 bottles of water and a gatorade. I wish I could feel these contractions, so I know if they are still happening or not, everyone seems so surprised when I say I can't feel them.

I don't feel them all either. I feel them sometimes but had no idea I was having them every 3 min at one point!! I had a negative FFN and they checked my cervix which was long and closed still. Sent me home! I only feel them at night after I pee and lay on my side, hell knows if I have many throughout the day! It's overwhelming!!

Sno- I havent had my cervix checked (or an u/s) since I was in the hosp, so I have no idea of the size of the kids or if my cervix is worse or better than before.. I don't feel any of the contractions, so that is annoying although I'm sure once I start feeling them I will wish for the days when I couldn't feel them LOL. Hearing my doc say that our immediate goal is 32 weeks is overwhelming... I can't think of the babies being here in 2 weeks. Still doesn't feel real that some point in the nearish future we will have two newborns!!
