Umm, totally TMI....but I am hoping I'm not alone here....

So yesterday, everything was all fine and normal 'down there' but this morning I got up and went to the bathroom and, like, my whole vagina, labia etc are all swollen! It felt completely weird when I wiped, like the inside of it all was on the outside. I dont' know if I am explaining this right...but WTF?! I didn't have sex last night or a big bowel movement.....and last I peed at 2:30am, I didn't notice anything different at all when I wiped. Do you think I have an infection?? Anyone else swollen and puffy down there??

    There is so much blood in that area and the LOs are beginning to really be heavy. 

    If you are worried about it and it doesn't go away, ask your Dr.

    I was like that as well. I have read it is totally normal. Jenny McCarthy wrote about it in her book, Belly Laughs. I think she called it "blue twinkies"... I didn't have the guts to look down there though.

    Yep, it's normal. I had DH help me to groom that area, and he was like, wow...you are really swollen down there. I knew that already from wiping, but I haven't looked.

    Mine has been like that for about a month.  Midwife said it is the pressure, maybe it means you are dropping!

    I'm pretty swollen and pretty tender too!  It's definitely odd!  There's lots going on in that area right now and an increase in blood flow in preparation for stretching and what not, so it's very normal.  I've been like this for a few weeks but it was all of a sudden one morning THERE IT WAS!  I'll tell you, I'm so tender that using plain ole toilet paper sucks, and I've pretty switched to baby wipes/feminine wipes if I can.
