Intro.

Thought I would come out of lurking and say hello!  I had a c section in November '11 and am looking to VBAC with my next child.  My baby was OP and only 7lbs 2 oz, but I could not get her out after 4 hours of pushing and being induced for low platelets and high blood pressure w/ no pain medication I might add. The OB tried to turn LO, but unfortunately she would not budge after my water broke really early in the induction process and her getting jammed in my pelvis.  It was really disappointing because we could see her head coming, but I was exhausted after that much pushing and could just not take anymore after also having been up for 48 hours. My OB does not do VBACs so I am shopping around for someone new now. I am not planning to get pregnant again for at least a year or more.  My body and mind need some distance and rest from my Nov. labor.  I also want some time to enjoy this little girl.

    Welcome to the group!  I can totally understand needing distance from that experience.  I waited a year to do anything, I just wanted to heal physically and emotionally.

    Welcome!  I had my c/s for the same reason (OP baby, wouldn't descend) and I had a VBAC last April with a slightly larger baby.  GL!
