Anyway, the school district I work in is going through a whooping cough epidemic. The state came in on Monday and mandated all staff to get the vaccine. Both my RE and OB/GYN recommended that I do not get the vaccine, so I declined. Long story short, I of course I got the 20 ?'s from administration and wound up having to tell them that I am pregnant A LOT earlier then I wanted to. Another zinger is that I am not employed by this district I work in. I work for the local county intermediate unit. So I ALSO had to tell all my supervisors and hr my situation. Everything is still up in the air, but I may not be able to return to work for 21 days...AND what's worse is they want me to use my sick days...
AND
I came home today to a jury duty notice....
UGH! I have such a headache.
Someone make my day and tell me something funny!

First off, ew to your whole situation, that sucks.
Something funny? two weeks ago while I was at the doctor's office, she wanted to confirm my pregnancy with a pee test. So I went in the bathroom, peed in the cup...
...and spilled the pee cup all down the front of myself. Seriously.

My funny tale is that we've been telling DD and DS that there's a baby in mommy's tummy. So we were at a playdate today, and while the kids were downstairs, I heard one of the tiny babies wake up upstairs. I grabbed him and was holding him when DD came back upstairs. Her eyes got HUGE and she was like "mah baybee? Ooooohhhhhh!" Cutest. Thing. Ever. How I wish it were that easy.
