Let me start by saying I know I am very lucky to work for a company that gives 13 weeks paid maternity leave. I do not take this time with E for granted.
I just found out that I need to travel the first week I am back in the office in late March. I was really hoping to ease back into the work routine, but it does not look like that will happen. We have a big client conference in London that I need to attend and present at, and it is scheduled for the Tues-Thurs for my first week back. I can't imagine leaving E for 8 hrs, let alone three days (probably more with travel time). My mind is also hurting from the logistics of how I will pump / store / travel with breastmilk across the Atlantic!
Has anyone else had to deal with extended travel yet? How did it go / any recommendations? I will probably post this on the breastfeeding board to get their help with the storing/travel component of the trip.
